Arriving

 

By air
The easiest way to get here is by Copenhagen Airport. From there you take the shuttle train directly to Malmö. It takes about 20 minutes. You could be requested to show your passport on the train.

 

By train
There are several train stations in Malmö. The best way to reach the venue, coming from the airport, you choose the third Swedish stop, the Central Station.

 

By car
Arriving by car over the bridge you continue on E20 to the second exit named ‘Naffentorp’ (exit no. 11) and go for ‘Malmö’ in northern direction. Keep on driving straight on upon the 'Pildammsvägen' through the entire city until you reach the old town and Malmö Live on the right side at the canal crossing.

Domestic visitors arriving by car (E6) turn right twice when reaching Malmö Entré and follow 'Hornsgatan/Norra Vallgatan' to the end of the road. There you should have Malmö Live om the right side along the canal.

Visiting Malmö

 

 

Relaxing

Pildammsparken
Close to the stadium is a big recreational park, Pildammsparken. Here you can take a walk, a jogging tour or just sit down and feed the ducks. During the 16th century a water reservoir was created with a pipeline to the old town. It’s also the place where the Baltic Exhibition was held in 1914, today still housing the Queen Margaret’s Pavilion and flower garden.

 

 

Västra Hamnen
Stroll along the seashore at the West Harbour (Västra Hamnen). Breathe the fresh air and experience the modern part of Malmö. It’s an old shipyard area now turned into a fancy residential area. Here you can have a closer look at the twisted building Turning Torso or enjoy drinks and a meal at several restaurants.

 

 

Food and drinks
Bullen. (‘the Bun’ address: Storgatan 35) is the place to have a beer and be served Swedish dishes. Meatballs or fried bacon with onion sauce are standards. Here the local musicians and other cultural workers have met for decades, drinking and relaxing.

 

Möllevångstorget.(Address: Bergsgatan) Möllevångstorget is probably the most multi cultural place in town. It’s a open square and an food market surrounded by international shops and restaurants. Cheap and cozy. Go there, have a beer, and enjoy watching the everyday life of Malmö.

 

Lilla torg. ('the Small Square' Adress: Skomakaregatan) The more hip place to have a drink and a meal is at the in the old town center, surrounded by 17th century buildings.
